New York, NY (March 17, 2026) – The Spencer Educational Foundation, a leading nonprofit organization aimed at bolstering the next generation of risk management and insurance professionals, will hold its annual Funding Their Future Gala in New York City on Thursday, September 17, 2026.
The event will highlight two highly accomplished industry leaders: Sierra Signorelli for her significant career achievements that culminated in a January 2026 appointment to the role of CEO of Zurich US in addition to her continuing leadership as CEO of Zurich Commercial Insurance globally; and former Spencer Chair of the Board Marya Propis, President of Retail Distribution at RT Specialty for her passionate dedication to Spencer’s mission of supporting the next generation of industry leaders.
The 2026 Gala marks a return to the event’s original venue, the recently restored Waldorf Astoria New York. The event will also showcase Spencer Scholarship recipients and the far-reaching impact the Foundation has across the industry.
